Hi, welcome to this exciting new chapter of your life!
I am Liz Levin, the creator of Glo Birth Doula Services. In March 2025, almost a year after my son was born, I felt called to become a birth doula. I went on to complete a DONA International Birth Doula Training at Bini Birth. Becoming a mother is the most radical change I have undergone in my adult life. I know firsthand how impactful a doula can be in guiding one through the process of labor, birth, and postpartum. There is increasing evidence and research that having a birth doula present at one's labor can improve the overall experience and outcome of labor. Having a birth doula present tends to lessen the level of medical intervention, lower the rate of c-sections, shorten labor time, and aid in feeling content during this monumental experience. It would be my honor to support you through this journey.
